For the fourth consecutive year, Cosmopolitan Italy relocated its editorial team to Sanremo for the 76th edition of the Italian Music Festival, delivering an integrated program spanning print, digital, social and live experiences.
Throughout the week, the brand activated a full-scale editorial ecosystem featuring exclusive interviews, daily video podcasts, meet & greets and branded partnerships, capturing the energy and cultural relevance of Italy’s most popular music event.
The print and editorial strategy was anchored by the February Power Issue, featuring Mara Sattei and Tredici Pietro on the cover, both of whom joined in Sanremo for a signing session at Fioraio Cosmo. Two additional digital covers spotlighted Sayf, who placed second, and Ditonellapiaga, who placed third and emerged as one of the Festival’s defining voices. Extended editorial coverage also included Pepe Barroso Silva, Mia Jenkins and Luca Melucci from Love Me Love Me, alongside Sanremo Giovani talent Angelica Bove.
Suite Cosmo at Hotel Londra, delivered in partnership with Radio Italia, served as the brand’s daily content studio from 2pm to 5pm. The space hosted leading artists, new talents and creators for live video podcast interviews distributed across Cosmopolitan’s website, Spotify and YouTube channel. This year’s creative direction, inspired by Cosmopolitan’s notebook and developed with photographer Simone Biavati, introduced a distinctive visual identity built on scans and handcrafted elements, driving strong engagement across social platforms.
Fioraio Cosmo at La Gintoneria operated as the experiential hub of the week. Developed under the creative direction of Vincenzo Dascanio in collaboration with the Sanremo Flower Market, the venue combined interviews, beauty activations and community moments. The entertainment program included a Karaoke Party with Radio Italia, a Sol de Janeiro event, a Bioderma celebration powered by Zelda Cocktail Club and a closing DJ set by French trio Dov’è Liana.
In partnership with Eden Viaggi, Cosmopolitan Italy also launched a “Zero Sbatti” pop-up designed as a relaxation space between Festival events. A multi-platform collaboration with iliad and Natalia Paragoni delivered interviews and lifestyle content from iliadclub and across the city, spotlighting the protagonists and trends shaping the week. Additional collaborations included activations with talent agency Doom.
The Sanremo 2026 project was supported by Agrisicilia, Bioderma, Eden Viaggi, Juicy Couture, Moak, Sol de Janeiro, Tre Marie and U.S. Polo Assn., with technical partners Mercato dei Fiori and La Redoute, and media partnerships with Radio Italia and Zelda Cocktail Club.
Through editorial authority, live programming and strategic brand partnerships, Cosmopolitan Italia successfully reinforced its position as a leading voice in culture and music storytelling during Sanremo 2026.
