ELLE Netherlands has appointed Emma Vloeimans as its new Editor-in-Chief, effective November 1, 2025. Vloeimans brings more than a decade of experience in media, fashion, and lifestyle publishing. She has held editorial and strategic roles at Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, JAN Living, and L’Oréal, and founded her own digital platform, Tribute to Magazine, combining creative editorial work with a data-driven approach to digital growth and brand storytelling.
As Editor-in-Chief, Vloeimans will lead ELLE Netherlands into a new chapter focused on fashion authority, cultural insight, and community engagement. Her vision includes deepening ELLE’s connection to its readers through fresh editorial storytelling, exclusive events, and digital innovation. She aims to expand the magazine’s focus on topics that reflect women’s evolving identities—spanning style, well-being, and empowerment—while maintaining ELLE’s distinctive voice within the international fashion landscape.
Vloeimans began her career at De Bijenkorf as a campaign editor, responsible for styling and creative content, before moving into roles that honed her editorial, analytical, and strategic expertise. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to launch Tribute to Magazine in 2018, where she explored SEO and digital journalism to reach a new generation of readers passionate about fashion and culture. At Harper’s Bazaar, she learned to look at a brand strategically, gaining a reputation for blending creative direction with brand growth, and helped expand the publication’s digital footprint and audience engagement. Her leadership style is rooted in strategic thinking, innovation, and collaboration — qualities she now brings to ELLE Netherlands.
Commenting on her new role, she stated, “I can’t wait to start at ELLE, a brand I’ve followed since my teenage years. For over 35 years, ELLE has been a fashion authority in the Netherlands, offering a unique blend of fashion, beauty, culture, and social relevance. It’s a brand that inspires women to be themselves and to remain curious and critical about the world around them. I look forward to contributing to that.”
