On November 6, Esquire Germany hosted the fourth edition of the global event franchise, Esquire Townhouse, at the modern venue AchtBerlin. This year’s edition was particularly special, as it also marked the fifth anniversary of Esquire Germany. More than 300 guests gathered to celebrate a day filled with talks, brand experiences, food, drinks, music, and entertainment, truly reflecting Esquire’s refined style.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from Dominik Schütte, Editor-in-Chief of Esquire Germany, and Alexandra Link, Digital Editor-in-Chief, who reflected on five years of defining what “Man at his best” means in a modern world. The day’s sessions offered insight and inspiration, led by voices who are shaping the conversation around culture and identity.

Futurist and Esquire columnist Tristan Horx gave a keynote on “Masculinity in Transition,” exploring how modern manhood is evolving in an age of transformation. Later, comedian and author Aurel Mertz presented an exclusive reading from his upcoming debut book Alpha-Boys, blending humor and social commentary in a talk that resonated deeply with the audience.

To commemorate the anniversary, Esquire Germany unveiled three special edition covers featuring the actors Langston Uibel (Unorthodox), Harriet Herbig-Matten (Maxton Hall), and Kosmas Schmidt (Euphoria). During a panel moderated by Dominik Schütte and Philipp Köpp, Esquire’s Content Director, the trio discussed storytelling, streaming culture, and the changing landscape of success in the entertainment industry. Their honest reflections and dynamic energy captivated the audience, underscoring Esquire’s role as a platform for authentic dialogue.

Throughout AchtBerlin, guests discovered interactive brand activations that celebrated craftsmanship, design, and individuality – from whiskey tastings and watchmaking workshops to fashion installations and fragrance showcases. Esquire Germany was supported by American Express, Bucherer Certified Pre-Owned, Fugazzi, Montblanc, Moët & Chandon, The Dalmore, and Tiger of Sweden. Paulaner and Five Guys provided culinary highlights, ensuring guests enjoyed both the best drinks and the best burgers. As the evening transitioned into the night, DJs Le.Tizi and Maddi Bu took to the decks, turning AchtBerlin into a lively dance floor and closing out the celebration in true Esquire style.
