Harper’s BAZAAR Serbia Hosts its first BAZAAR at Work Conference

BAZAAR at Work Serbia Conference Sparks Inspiration, Dialogue, and Female Empowerment in Belgrade

PUBLISHED: May 19, 2025

Last week, Belgrade became a hub of inspiration, meaningful dialogue, and female solidarity as the first BAZAAR at Work conference, organized by Harper’s BAZAAR Serbia, came to life. Held at the iconic Balkan Cinema, the event brought together pioneering women from entrepreneurship, art, technology, and media. The gathering celebrated boundary-breaking achievements, encouraged empowering exchanges, and fostered impactful discussions.

The conference showcased stories of women redefining success – in their careers, in public arenas, and in personal journeys. These narratives stood as powerful examples of how true transformation happens when individuals uplift, connect, and voice their perspectives.

Hosted by moderator Maja Nikolić, the event kicked off with inspiring welcome speeches by Petar Janošević, Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s BAZAAR Serbia, and Jovana Tufegdžić, Corporate Communications Manager at Visa. Both emphasized that women’s empowerment is not just a value but a critical mission consistently championed by the platform.

The agenda featured five dynamic panels covering topics from entrepreneurship and work-life balance to personal branding and women’s voices in professional spaces. Panelists shared stories of resilience, authenticity, and breaking boundaries, reinforcing the message that change happens through connection and mutual support.

Esteemed partners Visa, Samsung, Ploom, Vichy Laboratories, Cedevita, Grand Kafa, and VODAVODA, further amplified the conference’s powerful message, highlighting the importance of financial inclusion, digital literacy, and self-care as key drivers of societal progress.

As the first step in a long-term initiative in Serbia, BAZAAR at Work aims to continue growing, expanding conversations, and fostering meaningful change through future gatherings.
