Harper’s BAZAAR UK successfully hosted its annual International Women’s Day Gala on 4 March 2026 at the Corinthia London, in partnership with headline partner Irwin Mitchell and with support from Range Rover and Marylebone Village.

Now in its eighth year, the event has become a key moment in the cultural calendar, bringing together influential voices from across law, dance, sport, film and activism to champion progress, creativity and female leadership. The evening welcomed BAZAAR readers, guests and Privé members for a champagne reception followed by a three-course dinner hosted by Harper’s BAZAAR’s editor-in-chief Lydia Slater.

The 2026 gala centered on the theme of endurance, with speakers sharing powerful, personal reflections on resilience, ambition and advocacy. Highlights included a panel chaired by features director Helena Lee, featuring Royal Ballet principal dancer Melissa Hamilton and executive coach and adventurer Katie Carr, who explored the role of perseverance in achieving extraordinary goals. A second panel, moderated by deputy editor Frances Hedges, examined the future of gender equality, with contributions from award-winning playwright Suzie Miller, barrister and campaigner Charlotte Proudman, and writer and comedian Deborah Frances-White.

The evening concluded with a keynote conversation between BAFTA-winning actress Lashana Lynch and Lydia Slater, reflecting on the importance of understanding one’s own strength and advocating for others.

Lydia Slater, Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s BAZAAR UK, said: “Staying true to Harper’s BAZAAR’s heritage, we are delighted to celebrate the power of sisterhood at our annual International Women’s Day gala in partnership with Irwin Mitchell. The evening brings together a cohort of leading women who inspire our community and are driving positive change.”

The event reinforced Harper’s BAZAAR’s ongoing commitment to elevating female voices and fostering meaningful dialogue around the issues shaping women’s lives today.
