Harper’s BAZAAR proudly continues its legacy of celebrating the women who shape our world through the Women of the Year Awards. The 2025 edition reaffirmed the brand’s global vision, honoring extraordinary talent, creativity, and leadership across continents. From India and Spain, to the UK and Netherlands — with forthcoming celebrations in Serbia and Thailand — each event recognized women whose courage, innovation, and influence continue to inspire progress and purpose worldwide.

The celebrations began on October 25, in Mumbai, where Harper’s BAZAAR India hosted the second edition of the annual event honoring visionaries from film, fashion, business, and culture. Awardees included Zeenat Aman (Icon of the Year), Anoushka Shankar (Musician of the Year), Anamika Khanna (Fashion Designer Award), and Janhvi Kapoor (Actor of the Year). The event’s inspiring atmosphere, brought to life with the support of NIF Global, reflected India’s evolving creative spirit, one that celebrates boldness, talent, and timeless grace. On October 28, Madrid’s legendary Callao Cinemas provided the setting for the fourth edition of the Harper’s BAZAAR Spain Women of the Year Awards 2025. Under the editorial direction of Inmaculada Jiménez, the gala celebrated women whose artistry, empathy, and resilience transcend boundaries. Honourees included Simone Biles, Emma Roberts, Bianca Jagger, Bianca Balti, Laura Pausini, and the design duo Gilda Ambrosio & Giorgia Tordini. The event’s elegant production, supported by Kia, El Corte Inglés, Tous, Martin Miller’s, Isdin, Bodegas Ysios, Xiaomi, Ibéricos Alta Expresión, Aquilea Flores, and Sixsens Catering, transformed Callao Square into a celebration of light, music, and meaning. This 18th edition recognized cultural powerhouses including Reese Witherspoon, Gillian Anderson, Rosamund Pike, Jade Thirlwall, and Aimee Lou Wood — each celebrated for their artistry, authenticity, and leadership. Held in partnership with The Platinum Card® by American Express as well as Dr. Barbara Sturm, De Beers, Laurent-Perrier, and Range Rover, the evening successfully honored pioneers from across the worlds of entertainment, literature, art, and business. Harper’s BAZAAR Netherlands brought back the annual awards to Amsterdam on November 18 under the theme “Better Together“. Hosted at the Thomaskerk, the awards honored five outstanding women, including trauma surgeon Geertje Govaert (Woman of the Year), entrepreneur Marian Spier, artist Lonneke Gordijn, and performer Amber Vineyard. Their stories of courage, creativity, and community reflected the Dutch edition’s emphasis on unity and inclusivity. Supported by Clé de Peau Beauté, Insingergilissen, Uber Eats, and GOLF.NL, the evening beautifully captured the power of connection.
