Hearst Italia Appoints Roberta Battocchio as Chief Growth Officer and Karen Nahum as Chief Marketing & Digital Officer

The two senior appointments signal Hearst Italia’s next phase of growth, innovation, and digital expansion.

Hearst Italia announces the appointment of Roberta Battocchio as Chief Growth Officer, with a mandate to identify new business and diversification opportunities to support the company’s continued growth in revenue and profitability.

Battocchio will retain her current role as General Manager of the Global Design Business Unit—an innovation-driven hub of entrepreneurship and development that has become an international reference point within the network. In her expanded role, she will focus on accelerating cross-functional entrepreneurship across all Hearst Italia businesses.

Supporting this next phase of growth, Karen Nahum has been appointed Chief Marketing & Digital Officer. In this role, Nahum will lead marketing and digital development strategies with a multimedia, data-driven, and B2B2C approach. Her priorities will include strengthening existing publishing brands, identifying new areas of development, and evolving monetization models. She will work in close collaboration with commercial teams to unlock new growth opportunities.

Nahum brings extensive experience in B2B and B2C growth and digital transformation, gained across national and international contexts in the media, education, finance, healthcare, and services sectors.
