Men’s Health Italy marks its 25th anniversary with the launch of a completely redesigned magazine: “MH”. Spearheaded by Giovanni Audiffredi, who is also the director of Esquire Italia, this will be Italy’s first sport lifestyle magazine, marking an important evolution of the historic Hearst fitness magazine, internationally renowned across 11 global editions.
The rebranded magazine has already resonated powerfully within the market, demonstrating extraordinary triple-digit revenue growth from its initial print issue, surpassing ambitious launch expectations. “MH” successfully attracted leading industry players across multiple sectors, signaling a significant repositioning within the magazine landscape.
Giacomo Moletto, CEO of Hearst Italia, stated: “With MH, Hearst’s men’s offering, enhanced by the proven success of Esquire, significantly broadens and enriches its reach. We are now positioned to engage premium readers through high-quality print, digital, and social content, seamlessly blending sports engagement with cultural enrichment. This evolution solidifies a concrete new path forward for Men’s Health, the world’s most widely distributed sports magazine.”
The debut edition of “MH,” the first of four planned for 2025, celebrates the brand’s 25-year milestone by showcasing a fresh logo and dynamic design aesthetic. The issue is released with four special covers featuring Tennis, Cycling, Basketball, and Hyrox, reflecting the magazine’s innovative multidisciplinary approach. Central themes include longevity, wellness, mental health, and the intrinsic cultural value of sports.
Contributors to the magazine include renowned dancer Roberto Bolle; Michele Dalai, Senior Vice President of Content at DAZN; prominent sports journalists Dario Costa and Raffaella Reggi; explorer Francesco Lotta; the psychology association Unobravo; and artwork by Osvaldo Casanova.
Director Giovanni Audiffredi emphasizes, “MH’s compelling visual storytelling sets it apart distinctly in the landscape of mass-circulation publications. Sport, a fundamental lifestyle element, is increasingly influential. Our innovative approach honors Men’s Health’s competitive heritage while capturing the very essence of contemporary living.”
“MH” is designed to evolve alongside its audience, emerging as the new benchmark for readers who view sport as a cornerstone of culture, lifestyle, and vision. Read more on menshealth.com/it.
