Willa Bennett, editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan and Seventeen, has been named to the BoF 500 Class of 2025, The Business of Fashion’s definitive index of the people shaping the global fashion industry.

Willa is known for bringing fresh, digital-savvy energy to legacy magazine brands while maintaining a bold editorial vision. Since taking the helm of Cosmopolitan and Seventeen in 2024, she has steered both titles toward modern, inclusive reflections of love and relationships, strengthening their cultural impact and resonance with Gen-Z audiences. Her career has spanned leadership roles at Highsnobiety, GQ, and Bustle Digital Group, as well as her early work at Seventeen, where she launched the brand’s first queer vertical. She is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree, a published author, and a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in digital journalism and communications.
