Country Living UK has unveiled a refreshed editorial direction with the launch of its April issue, on sale from March 5th, marking an important milestone as the brand steps into its fifth decade and continues to strengthen its position as the No. 1 Home Interest brand*.
Led by Editor-in-Chief Saska Graville, the refresh introduces new sections, formats and contributors, building on the brand’s established editorial pillars while responding to recent audience insight that reflects a diverse community spanning both countryside and city living.
The redesigned magazine also debuts a new tagline — The countryside is yours — underscoring the brand’s mission to make the countryside easily accessible to audiences. Among the new contributors joining the title are Channel 5’s Graeme Hall, known as The Dogfather; content creator and Hill House Vintage founder Paula Sutton; award-winning garden designer Jo Thompson; interior designer Russell Loughlan; and restaurateur Dan O’Regan. The refreshed editorial structure also introduces dedicated sections across food and travel, dogs, artisans and craft, homes and decorating, and gardens.
The April issue features a range of personalities, including rapper-turned-farmer Fekky reflecting on life at his chicken farm in Cambridgeshire; actor Alan Cumming discussing his vision for Scotland’s Pitlochry Festival Theatre; and fashion icon David Gandy sharing the story of Dora, the rescue dog who captured his heart.
The brand refresh extends across Country Living’s wider ecosystem. CountryLiving.com/UK has grown by 11% year-on-year**, while the brand’s award-winning licensing program includes retail partnerships with DFS and Barefoot Caravans. Country Living’s events portfolio has been running for more than three decades, complemented by the Artisan Collective — a successful membership proposition supporting artisan makers and small businesses.
Saska Graville, Editor-in-Chief, Country Living UK, said: “As Country Living enters its fifth decade, this refresh celebrates everything our audience already loves about the brand, while confidently evolving it to appeal to new readers. We know our community are just as likely to be in a city as they are in the countryside, but they share a desire to live more thoughtfully, more beautifully and more connected to nature.”
