Esquire Debuts in Portugal Through Lighthouse Publishing

The global men’s media brand that defines style and culture will premiere in the Portuguese market later this March.

Esquire, one of the world’s most iconic media brands, will debut in Portugal in March. The launch of the Portuguese edition is led by Lighthouse Publishing, which also publishes Vogue in Portugal, and brings to the country a men’s media brand that for decades has blended style, culture, and top-tier journalism, with its own globally recognized voice.

More than a men’s magazine, Esquire is a global cultural platform where deeply reported stories coexist with fashion, politics, cinema, literature, technology, and lifestyle coverage — always with depth, intelligence, and attitude. The Portuguese edition is born with the same ambition: to interpret the world through a Portuguese lens and international relevance.

With a multi-platform presence — print, digital, and events — Esquire also aims to be a meeting point for brands, creators, and readers who value content with substance, with print as its core, but also as a driver for multiple platforms.

“An editorial brand is an ecosystem,” emphasizes Santana. “We will have social media and the website, also with its own content, and of course, we will also host events,” he adds.

Esquire Portugal will be available starting mid-March 2026 on national newsstands, at Lighthouse Publishing’s international official retailers, and at shop.light-house.pt. Price retails at €10 each issue, Lighthouse plans six issues per year.  Subscriptions will also be available in our e-shop.
