Hearst Magazines International officially announced today the launch of Harper’s BAZAAR Colombia, which will debut on July 29, 2026, during Colombiamoda, the country’s most important fashion week. Helena Fadul, renowned communications strategist and luxury brand consultant, has been named Editor-in-Chief. The magazine will be available across all platforms—print, digital, and social media—and will be complemented by a calendar of in-person experiences and events.

This marks the first time the brand will publish a bimonthly print edition conceived in and for Colombia, combining locally produced editorial content with curated stories from the brand’s international portfolio.

“Over the years, I have learned to recognize the places, the people, and the moments when something meaningful is about to happen,” said Helena Fadul, Editor-in-Chief, Harper’s BAZAAR Colombia. “Colombia is that place today. This content is not being created to document what already exists, but to provide a cross platform experience proportionate to its talent: for those who dare, for craftsmanship that endures, and for the passion with which everything created here is made.”

The decision to explore the Colombian market is far from incidental. It confirms Colombia’s emergence as an internationally recognized cultural epicenter: a country that has taken significant strides within the fashion industry, championed a distinctly Latin American vision of craftsmanship, savoir-faire, and textile mastery, and become a regional benchmark for creative entrepreneurship.

True to its heritage since 1867, BAZAAR does not arrive to observe this phenomenon from the outside—it arrives to provide a stage worthy of it.

Harper’s BAZAAR celebrates the culture of fashion, from what’s new to what’s next, showcasing visionary stylists, photographers and designers,” said Kim St. Clair Bodden, SVP/Global Editorial & Brand Director, Hearst Magazines International. “We’re excited for Colombia to build on BAZAAR’s nearly 160 year history, expanding its global authority and influence on contemporary luxury, cultural innovation and artistic leadership.”

The arrival of a new publishing house in the country comes at a pivotal moment, as the growth of local talent demands a platform through which it can be seen and amplified. The Colombian edition aims to establish itself as the ultimate resource to inspire thousands of Colombians.

“Thank you for joining us on this new journey—one that marks a milestone for our industry and for Colombia” Fadul added.

Additional details regarding the editorial calendar and broader team structure will be announced soon.
