Hearst Spain has announced the appointment of Juan Manuel Martín-Moreno as its new Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFO/COO). In his new role, Martín-Moreno will oversee the Finance, IT, and Production (Procurement and Facilities) departments, with the aim of continuing to drive the alignment of the financial and operational functions with the company’s business strategy, operational excellence, and continuous evolution of these areas.
Juan Manuel Martín-Moreno brings to Hearst a distinguished professional career spanning more than 25 years in finance and operations. For the past four years, he has served as Vice President of Finance for Europe and the Middle East at Condé Nast. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions including General Director of Finance and Operations at Condé Nast Spain and Managing Director and Finance & Operations Director at Grupo V. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, an MBA from Instituto de Empresa (IE), and completed the PADE program at IESE Business School in Madrid.
